Please be patient

I know I promised to be back with Imaginisce, Cosmo Cricket, Shimmerz and more (Basic Grey Christmas) but to be honest I just can't seem to make myself work. Tomorrow is the anniversary of my dad's passing. I know this is personal and probably not what you came to my blog to read but it is me and this is my life. There are good days and bad days, we all have them. It had been 8 years since I lost my father to cancer. Many of you have heard me speak of or read of him, he was, and still is, my hero. I miss him even more now. I think with things changing in my life and him not being here to share it with has had a profound effect on me. I will take this day off to honor him and I will be back on Wednesday with the promised information. If you are reading this, take time to tell someone you love them and if your parents are still living, call them. Life passes so quickly we must cherish every moment God gives us. Bless each of you for being a part of my life.

Take the day off. Do what is best for you. Everything will still be there when you are ready to work again.

Beverly, you take all of the time you need--we'll still be here when you're ready to come back.

I'm sure your dad is watching over you now and is very proud that you're making your dream come true.

Like Mary says - i'm sure your Dad is looking down and loving every minute of your new adventure - remember our parents live on in us too - he would be so proud.

Take a few days to remember the good things - we're all wishing you well and saying the odd wee prayer.
